Biopsies
Led by NHS biomedical scientist expertise, our team is highly experienced in handling tissue samples and delivers a complete histopathology workflow designed for speed, precision, and reliability.
Our fully equipped histology laboratory features two high-capacity tissue processors, an embedding station, high-end microtomes, an automated coverslipper, and an automated stainer for H&E and special stains, ensuring consistent, high-quality results.
From grossing, processing, and embedding fixed or fresh tissue biopsies to sectioning, H&E staining, and high-resolution digital slide scanning, we provide end-to-end services for human tissue sample preparation and analysis. Biofluids
Our dedicated clinical sample processing team is highly experienced in the isolation of a range of products, including mononuclear cells, cellular subsets (Miltenyi MACS), and plasma from various sample types, including whole blood (PBMCs), bone marrow aspirates (BMMCs), and leukopaks (PBMCs).
The team is proficient in multiple isolation techniques, including SepMate™, overlay, underlay, and Leukosep®, allowing methods to be tailored to specific sample requirements for downstream analysis.
Clinical-ready assays
In addition to the design, development, and execution of preclinical and discovery research assays, our team has extensive experience in the development and qualification of analytical assays for clinical trial sample analysis, whether for exploratory biomarker studies, patient enrolment, or future companion diagnostics (CDx).
Our team has delivered GCLP-compliant clinical assay data for over five years. We also have an excellent track record in assay design and development, followed by efficient transfer to third-party laboratories - for example, supporting local CLIA validation in the US to enable trial patient enrolment.
